I believe I have fixed the issue on the website with downloading or playing episodes. I have fixed from episode 206 on. Episodes 206+ should now download correctly, and the webplayer on the site should also work for these episodes.

Make sure you refresh/reload the page if you're trying to download from the site, so that you're not using a cached version of the page. If you're using iTunes, or an app that uses iTunes' database, it may take a few hours for iTunes to update. However, if you're using an app subscribed via the RSS feed, the updates should be live, just refresh the feed in your app.

If anyone is still having issues with episode 206-211 after this change, please let me know. Once this is confirmed to be working, I'll start the insanely time-consuming task of re-uploading the other 210 episodes. :/

I think I got a fix for the recent problems with the downloads. Will be tomorrow before I can test it. I'll keep you posted. Fingers crossed!

There is a known issue with my site, which leads to the on-site audio player not working, and some apps not being able to get all the episodes. The powers that be are working on a fix, but in the meantime I can offer the following short-term solutions.

Download the file directly from the site by clicking the green download button at the top of each episode's shownotes.

Try a different app. I know BeyondPod works, and I'm told Google Play works as well.

I haven't used it. However, if you're looking for alternate xp methods, check out the "checkpoint" xp system discussed in the back of Xanathar's Guide. It pretty much boils xp down to the amount of content players get through. I really like it, and may switch over to it myself.

I've recently started playing in a PBP D&D game and I was chatting with the DM about alternate XP options and I recall reading the Three-Pillar Experience UA from August of last year.

Does anyone have any experience using it? How does it hold up compared to the expected levelling curve the DMG suggests—and promptly ignores?
