So what are you guys thinking of the actual play so far?

So far I'm loving it. I've started to listen to more and more live plays lately, and Hinterlands of Elandria is close to the top of the list.

What I enjoy most is hearing you talk about the game before/after on the non-AP and how it all comes full circle. For example, in episode 207 you talked about random/flexible encounters and how you used it in the game. And when you talked about it, I knew exactly what you were referencing.

My only complaint (and I use that word loosely), is that each episode is an entire session. That makes each episode pretty long, time-wise. I prefer multiple shorter episodes over fewer longer ones. But since live play isn't your main focus, I can understand that you just want to get the episodes out for us, and I appreciate that you're taking the extra time. Like I said, minor quibble.

Keep up the good works, man!

Thanks Christopher,

It actually wouldn't be that hard to split the sessions up. That's what I did on the previous campaign I did an AP for, I split each session up into 45-60 minute parts. The main reasons I'm not doing that is that my RSS feed is limited to 100 episodes, and I don't want the AP dominating the feed. Also, each session has a rhythm, and dividing them up messes with that a bit.

I really hope people find the Behind the Screen commentary helpful. I have plans for more to do, but decided to hold off on producing more until I get some questions & feedback on the videos, so I know what people want me to talk about.

I'm with you man.  I've just limited myself to listening (or watching on YouTube) for 45-60 minutes at a time.  :)
It's nice to have the whole session laid out if you have a long commute or significant downtime.
