I'm not planning to discuss Tomb of Annihilation any further on the show. I talked about it a bit in
episode 169. However, I'm not running the adventure, and I'm not planning to run it, so I'm not the best person to do a full review of it.
It does have some features I like, like the random encounter table, which I mention in episode 207, which I'm pretty impressed with because it has quite a bit more than just combat encounters. I also like the table of caches and treasures. It has a nice version of exploration rules, as well, that are a slightly different approach from those in the DMG and recent Unearthed Arcana article.
